True West Beef in Jerome, Idaho is hiring Quality Assurance Utility (Fabrication) roles. The Quality Assurance Utility (Fabrication) will be responsible for monitoring fabrication of raw and finished product to ensure specifications and HACCP requirements are obtained that meet highest standards possible. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform sampling procedures and record data; monitor and collect samples while maintaining accuracy of data
• Monitor food safety programs
• Monitor working environment to assist production in implementing Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures, Safe Quality Foods, and other food safety support programs
• Monitor and inspect boxes staged for export loads to meet specific country requirements
• Inspect and monitor incoming and returned product
• Maintain daily records
• Collaborate with production and maintenance to implement food safety programs
• Perform weight checks, procedure verification checks, and calibration procedures
• Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis
• Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to work in a cold environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Basic computer skills

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a production environment, preferably meat/food production
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in Quality Assurance
